Organic Cotton

This supersoft cotton yarn is produced using only organic cotton that has been guaranteed by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to you, the consumer.

Why Organic Cotton?

The strong, natural fibres of organic cotton are both super-soft and breathable – a perfect combination for knitwear that is going to be worn close to the skin. It washes well and wears well, making it a great choice for our classic styles.

How to care for your GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Knitwear

Whilst our GOTS certified Organic Cotton Knitwear can be machine washed at 60c, for environmental reasons and to ensure the longevity of your garments, washing by hand or at lower machine temperature with a mild detergent is advised.

Before washing, turn your garment inside out, then wash with similar colours to avoid dye transfer.

Once clean, remove excess water by lying your garment flat on a clean towel and carefully rolling it up. If needed, gently pull your garment back into shape and lie it flat on a fresh, dry towel or drying rack to dry.

Once dry, fold your Organic Cotton garments and store in a drawer or on a shelf in a breathable fabric bag. Never hang knitwear as it will stretch out of shape.
